Swimming lesson for my Scotties

Last weekend we attended an special activity just for dogs. This was a pool day for dogs.
I took Sesame and Pepper and both had a chance to swim.

Scotties swimming is a very sensitive subject since the Scottish terrier has very short legs and a heavy body. If you leave them un-attended chances are they will get tired and sink.

For this activity someone was always watching them and lifting them so that they could swim easily. It was very fun to watch them wag their tails in the water!!

There were around 20 dogs and Pepper was a little bit uncomfortable when she saw another dog swimming by her pool!

It was a lot or fun, but please always remember to never let your Scottish terrier swim unsupervised.
Watch them on youtube too!
